Are you waiting for a Magic Bullet?

Have you ever had a genius idea but didn’t pursue it?  Maybe you thought:

“This idea is awesome. I need to do this before someone else does!”

So what stopped you? Why didn’t you do it!?

Maybe you were waiting for a Magic Bullet to come along … a miraculous done-for-you solution to solve your problem.

If only I could find an investor…

If only I had someone to market it for me…

If only I had a patent…

If only  someone would just pay me to use my idea…

I’m sorry to tell you, but there really is no magic bullet for Inventing.

Yes, it’s sad, sometimes I wish there was.

Inventing is a great business and a really rewarding way to put your creativity to work.

But it doesn’t happen like magic. It takes some work, it takes some time and it takes some knowledge.

Watch out…there are magic bullets everywhere!

There are countless companies out there ready to sell you their “invention promotion” or “invention marketing and development” services.

They  make you think that if you give them your “great idea” (and only $5,000-$10,000!) that soon your product will soon be flying off the store shelf and you’ll be cashing some sweet cheques.

Are you sceptical? I sure am.

Don’t fall for it! As my mama always said:

If something seems to good to be true…it probably is!

Waiting for a Magic Bullet will kill your confidence

I’m writing this to let you know that you can do it. You.

Will you need some help? Sure. We all do.

Will it take some time and energy to get results? I won’t lie to you, yes.

You may think you want your invention to be done FOR you, but as well as being unlikely, this wouldn’t bring you that sense of accomplishment as when you work for it.

The Inventor School is the opposite to a Magic Bullet
